Brevard Young Adults Launches with Night of Worship and Prayer
BREVARD – Young adults from churches across Brevard gathered on Friday, October 10, at Calvary Chapel Eau Gallie for the inaugural Brevard Young Adults Worship Night, an evening of worship, prayer, and community designed to spark unity among the Space Coast’s Christian young adult ministries.
Worship was led by Philip Shibata of magnify.studio, followed by a short message from Daniel Selch of Disciples Bible College. The evening also featured a connection fair with tables representing local young adult groups, churches, and ministry resources, offering attendees opportunities to meet others and discover ways to get involved throughout the county.
Sam Henry of Church at Viera Young Adults, one of the key leaders in the effort, said he hopes the gathering helps spread the vision for unity among local believers. “I hope that those who came to that worship night saw and caught the fire of what we’re trying to do in Brevard County: uniting young adults from different groups and churches under one roof to honor and glorify Jesus,” Henry said. “I know I was inspired and given fresh wind in my sails, and my prayer is for that night to mark a moment with the Lord that we can cherish in the months and years to come.”
The Brevard Young Adults network describes its mission as “a community of Christian young adult groups located around the Space Coast area that aims to grow together in Christ and works to see revival locally and beyond.” The group seeks to “promote events and opportunities for worship, fellowship, learning, and serving so that everyone who is a part of the network will be informed and on the same page.”
