Faith in Action

Faith in Action
Speakers at Faith in Action, held at Victory in Christ Jesus Ministries, Palm Bay, urged Christians to faith and civic action.

I was not feeling very motivated this Friday, following Charlie Kirk's murder and the relentless bashing on X. I fumbled through some work and managed to drag myself to Victory in Christ Jesus Ministries in Palm Bay for an event I and some others had been planning:

Faith in Action featured a remembrance of Charlie Kirk, and a group of excellent, intense speakers, passionate about revival in the church and a return to biblical values in our nation.

There are many faithful people working for the good of our country, and they gathered here this past Friday afternoon. I want to recognize them:

Ruth Kaufhold is Brevard's leading Constitution coach. She works with several groups, many of whom spoke today. She teaches with Patriot Academy and the Salt and Light Council. Ruth is also on the board of Melbourne's Liberty Bell Museum. Ruth MC'd the event and introduced each speaker. Her work to educate about America's founding principles is much needed. She works with veterans, schools, scouts, and churches to remember why America was founded and what sets us apart from every other country in the world. If you're interested in connecting with her, you can find her on brevard.biz

A speaker at the event, Seth Tweeddale is a pastor and patriot. At TPUSA Faith, he works with churches across the state, inspiring and teaching that America's roots come from the Protestant Reformation. Churches have forgotten the past and Seth is working to restore and revive the American church. His heartfelt talk about the death of his boss, Charlie Kirk, affirms the message and lit a torch that will bring revival to a nation that is desperate for God, for meaning, and purpose in our lives.

Paul Blair spoke next. A former NFL player, cancer survivor, and pastor, he spoke with purpose about the movement he's ignited. Liberty Pastors trains and teaches church leaders about America's founders and how Christianity is at the core of our nation. Send your pastors to this and your church will become the beacon of freedom that God meant them to be.

Steve Maxwell, the founder of Citizens Defending Freedom followed. A short time ago he was near death and miraculously restored to full health. Even before this, he created a powerful network, that is working relentlessly to defend liberty and fight injustice dealt to parents and churches from schools and government. They protect our children, fight for election integrity, uncover corruption, and promote our faith.

Robert Goodman, CDF's Florida Faith Director spoke next, about the problems we face. He shared what Citizens Defending Freedom is doing in Florida and stressed that we all need to get involved, stand, and fight for what is right. He shared how we can take back government, school boards, and restore biblical values.

Luis Cabrera, Pastor and CDF's Texas Faith Director shared solutions. Citizens Defending Freedom is focused on illuminating the issues we face, speaks through it's media team to communicate and gather citizens on local issues and then fights with us through their intense legal team. Most organizations leave this part out, and it's essential.

Last up, Mark Miller, Pastor of Victory in Christ Jesus, a church in Palm Bay and gracious host of the event, shared his heart about our community, his story that brought him from NASCAR to Aerospace and the pulpit, and why Patriot Pastors are needed to carry the torch in this generation.

We ended with a video from Charlie Kirk delivering a "Message to the Church" at the 2025 Florida Family Voice dinner:

We can't stand on the sidelines any more. United we stand, divided we fall. Today's issues are no longer Republican vs. Democrat or liberal vs. conservative; they are existential. Our survival as a nation is at stake.

Every great movement in our country's 249 year history was lead by the church. Revival of the remnant begins, today. Get involved. Our lives and souls depend on it.
