"Is There Anyway We Can All Come Together? It's Worth A SHOT" | Clearlake First Baptist Church
Dr. David Piccolo of Clearlake First Baptist Church in Cocoa joins the Pastor Podcast for a conversation on Christian unity, church revitalization, and serving faithfully in public education.
Clearlake First Baptist was launched in 1962 and remains a historic presence in Brevard County. In this episode, Dr. Piccolo reflects on the church’s recent season of renewal, a growing hunger for Scripture among its members, and the decision to open their doors to Surfside Community Fellowship as a living example of unity between congregations.
With more than 44 years of experience in education, including serving as an area superintendent for Brevard County Public Schools, Dr. Piccolo shares what it means to live out Christian faith in the public school system. He discusses strengthening Christian teachers, encouraging believers who feel isolated in secular institutions, and why Christians should support one another rather than retreat.
The conversation also explores his personal journey from being raised Catholic to becoming an ordained Baptist minister, and why he believes unity in the body of Christ is essential for the Church’s witness in Brevard County today.
