TPUSA Faith Conducts Inaugural Meeting
MERRITT ISLAND – The inaugural meeting of the TPUSA Faith Hub of Brevard was held on September 20 at Tapestry Community Church in Merritt Island. The gathering brought together local believers, pastors, and community leaders for the purpose of equipping The Church for public witness in Brevard.
TPUSA Faith is a national Christian outreach founded by Turning Point USA to encourage, educate, and empower believers to live out their faith in the public square. The Brevard hub serves as the local outreach arm of the organization, aiming to unite churches and ministries under a shared mission of bold witness.
Speakers included TPUSA Faith Florida Director Seth Tweeddale, Tapestry leader and hub coordinator Paul Rosbury, Constitution Coach Ruth Kaufhold of the Salt & Light Council, Hillary Earle of Operation Joshua, and Pastor Mark Miller of Victory in Christ Jesus Ministries in Palm Bay.
“If we truly believe in good and evil, right and wrong, then why don’t we live by it and enforce it? It begins in the home, with the upbringing of our children,” said attendee Alan Bergman, who was recognized for his work with the Early Learning Coalition of Brevard. “Moral values must be instilled in the next generation. The Church stands as a pillar of the community, alongside the strength of the family. Teachers, too, are closely observed by their students—not only for the subjects they teach, but for the character they display.”
The event provided information for those interested in starting TPUSA Faith groups within their own churches. Attendees filled out survey cards to indicate their skills, interests, and availability for leadership opportunities. Several students involved in forming a TPUSA chapter at Eastern Florida State College were also in attendance.
In a statement posted to the TPUSA Faith Hub of Brevard's Facebook group the following week, Rosbury stated that the team is working to form new groups in Brevard churches and will use materials from TPUSA Faith, Patriot Academy, and other discipleship programs to focus on outreach across local “cultures." “[W]e need bold people sharing the Gospel,” he said, noting the groups would be “apostolic action-oriented.”
“The passing of Charlie Kirk is not just another moment—it is a watershed event,” Bergman said. “The congregation was hungry for God’s Word and eager to carry His torch forward. May the Lord grant us conviction, courage, and strength to continue His work.”
