Trinity Lutheran Church Welcomes New Pastor
Pastor Eric Luhman is welcomed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockledge.

ROCKLEDGE — Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockledge has welcomed a new permanent pastor. Rev. Eric Luhman comes from St. Louis, Missouri, and holds an M.Div. from Concordia Seminary with a focus in Pastoral Studies and Counseling. In addition to his pastoral career, he is also a writer with experience in Christian devotion and fiction.

Trinity Lutheran Church was established in 1955 and is a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). The church also supports a K–6 school, Trinity Lutheran School–Rockledge. The school is the only LCMS school in Brevard County and serves more than 125 students. Theresa Barnewall stepped in as principal earlier last year.

Trinity Lutheran School celebrated the national certification of its new outdoor enrichment courtyard with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing on Thursday, May 15.

The congregation has been searching for a new pastor since the departure of Pastor John Rallison in December 2023. Luhman’s arrival marks a new chapter for Trinity Lutheran as the church and school look ahead to building a stable vision after a season of interim pastors.

Trinity Lutheran Church meets Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at their sanctuary located at 1330 S Fiske Blvd in Rockledge.
