Trinity Lutheran School Dedicates Nationally Certified Outdoor Classroom
Trinity Lutheran School celebrated the national certification of its new outdoor enrichment courtyard with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing on Thursday, May 15.

Rockledge, FL — Trinity Lutheran School celebrated the national certification of its new outdoor enrichment courtyard with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and blessing on Thursday, May 15. The courtyard has been officially recognized as a Certified Nature Explore Classroom by the Nature Explore program, a division of the Dimensions Educational Research Foundation.
The dedication event featured a blessing by Pastor Meyr, along with remarks from Principal Becky Houston and Mrs. Katy Miller, the schools Early Childhood Education Director. The ceremony was held just before the school’s annual Spring Festival, where students performed music and enjoyed outdoor activities.
As one of nearly 600 certified classrooms nationwide, Trinity’s Nature Explore Classroom offers students a research-based, nature-rich environment for outdoor learning. The space features open-ended materials and natural elements designed to spark creativity, support academic growth, and foster healthy development.
