Palm Bay Mayor's Ball Raises $60,000 for Faith-Based Pregnancy Center

Representatives of Essential Pregnancy Center receive a $60,000 check during the May 21 Palm Bay City Council meeting. The funds were raised through the city's 2026 Mayor's Ball fundraiser.

PALM BAY — Essential Pregnancy Center received more than $60,000 during the Palm Bay City Council's May 21 meeting following the success of the 2026 Mayor's Ball charity fundraiser.

Held April 18, the annual event brought together more than 200 sponsors, community partners, local dignitaries, residents and supporters in support of the faith-based pregnancy ministry.

Mayor Rob Medina selected Essential Pregnancy Center as this year's beneficiary, citing the organization's work providing care, education and support to women and families experiencing unplanned pregnancies and healing from past experiences.

Essential Pregnancy Center expressed gratitude to the city and event supporters following the presentation.

“Your passion to defend life is genuine, and your support means so much to so many,” the organization wrote in a public statement. “We are truly grateful for your support.”

Founded in 2021, Essential Pregnancy Center is a Palm Bay-based Christian nonprofit that provides free pregnancy services, education and support to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. The organization's mission is to promote dignity, hope and informed decision-making through compassionate care and practical assistance.
