BREVARD — Pastor Nathaniel Carter II of Lightseekers Ministries in Melbourne went viral this past week after sharing a video on Instagram recounting how he and his wife ministered to a group of teenagers during a recent cruise to the Bahamas.

The video, which has reached more than 50,000 views and nearly 2,000 shares, describes an encounter where Carter and his wife, Desiree Zamot-Carter, came across a group of teens gathered in the cruise ship library.

“My wife was like, ‘yo, this is where the party at, huh?’” Carter said. “One of the teens responded, ‘we’re having Bible study,’ knowing that they weren’t having no Bible study. But my wife and I used that opportunity to minister to them.”

According to Carter, the couple introduced themselves as pastors and began speaking with the teens about the Christian faith. What followed was a spontaneous time of teaching, prayer and worship that continued into the next day after the teens asked them to return.

Several of the teens were moved to tears during the encounter, and one young man chose to give his life to Christ and was baptized.
